I swear I'm not photogenic

There seems to be two types of people. Those who are photogenic, and then there is the rest of us. I have come to the conclusion that I'm in group number two. I don't know what the secret is or if there is even a secret, but if there is one I can't seem to find it. I'm either too critical about the photo's taken of me, or I'm truly not photogenic. On the other hand you have people that you could take their photo at 6 in the morning and they would look just fine. I don't know what it is. It must be one of two things either it's the person, or the it's the camera. I Probably just need a new camera :).
