Everyone's trying to be someone else

Isn't it funny that everyone tries to be like someone else in one way or another. Why do individuals with white skin tan, and people with darker skin try and get as little sun as possible? Why do people with curly hair straighten their hair, and people with straight hair perm their's? It's almost ironic that everyone is trying to be like something else in one way or another. Even I, am guilty of the same charges. Maybe the reason why is because we see change as progress, but when it really comes down to it who knows. We act, respond, and that's life.
