Stinky Sneakers

Have you ever been sitting next to someone and you smell a strong odor coming from the person next to you. Not the smell of BO or of not washing, but from stinky shoes. That muggy lingering smell that doesn't want to go anywhere but your nose. This is my current situation, and the shoes that stink are mine. Let me tell you how this situation came about.

I went cliff jumping about a week ago. I didn't actually know that I was going to go cliff jumping when I went. While I was up near the lake my friends decided that it was time to cliff jump. I didn't bring any clothes to jump in so I was forced to use what I had. I jumped, and because it hurts bear feet from fifty feet up to jump I wore my shoes. The jumping was fun, but I now have stinky shoes from the lake water. I bought some shoe balls to stick in my shoes to help kill or at least neutralize the odor and that didn't exactly work, so I purchased the much advertised fa breeze. I'm hoping that the combination of the two will kill the evil odor lord and his forces. If you know of a way to defeat the evil odor lord and his forces let me know. Aaron (Other wise my problem is your problem, well at least if I sit by you.)

Diapers = Convenient

They say the old are the wise. Is this why the wise have discovered the convenience of diapers, and have decided to use them in there old age or is it just because of physical problems they have. I would like to say the answer is convenience. Why not make your life more comfortable, more enjoyable, and more relaxed knowing that if you're busy with something you don't need to take the time to stop and go to the restroom. How unconvenient is it when you're in the movie theater and you need to goto the bathroom just as the show is at its pinnacle. How unconvenient is it if you're reading your favorite book and you feel and urge to go. Why not use your wisdom in your old age, relax, and enjoy life how you want to. If you ever need to use the restroom go where you're at, then at your convenience change. People don't wear diapers because they need to, they wear them because they have realized how much more convenient life is when they decide when things happen and not their physical body. So the next time you go to the theater why not slip on a pair, and when the show hits its pinnacle sit back, relax, and releave yourself right where your at.

Life can't be planned

From corporate America to individual lives, people are trying to plan their life and their actions by what they think others will do. They try and figure out on paper what they think is a reasonable equation for what they want to happen. What they forget or ignore is the point that real world figures don't add up to whats on paper. Not that it's not possible to get a plan and calculate what will happen, but they don't plan for real world figures. What they plan for is the optimal situation, but the optimal situation is often the impossible situation. They plan for events and numbers that 'are' possible, but only if everything went as planned. Really though, when does everything you plan to happen remember that you planned it or even know about the plan? What needs to happen is plans and ideas going from what they think is the least that will happen, then deciding whither or not its passable to proceed from that point. Your on the wrong earth if you think you can plan for the optimal and expect it. Look on the bright side though, if you plan for the least and get it then anything above that's a bonus.

What an animal!

Have you ever looked at someone thought that they look incredibly like an animal. Most people look fine, but you do get someone people that when you look at them you think that they must be related to a dog, pig, or beaver. In a way you feel generally said for them, but in another you marvel at how much they resemble an animal. I don't know if it's the way they comb there hair or move there facial expressions, but they resemble an animal. Its one of the funny mysteries of this world we may never come to understand.

What about 9

Have you ever thought about nine and how many ways it's used. I was thinking about the number nine and how many times it's in our lives. You can do multiplies of nine on your hand. Golf courses are in sets of nine holes. What about cloud nine. Why is it that when you hit the snooze button it's for nine minutes. September 11th happened on 9-11. 9*11=99, 9+9=18, 1+8=9. Ludwig van Beethoven, Franz Schubert, Anton Bruckner, and Ralph Vaughan Williams wrote nine symphonies. What about bands, Stroke 9, Nine Days, and Nine Inch Nails. Did you know that nine judges sit on the us supreme court. Why do cats have nine lives. If you take anything times nine and add the remaining numbers together you will eventually end back with nine.
  • 2*9=18 (1+8=9)
  • 3*9=27 (2+7=9)
  • 9*9=81 (8+1=9)
  • 234*9=2106 (2+1+0+6=9)
  • 578329*9=5204961 (5+2+0+4+9+6+1=27 (2+7=9))
Now if I could only figure out how to get snooze to be longer than nine minutes.

How does it do it?

Honestly, how? It only takes once and then bam its in. You don't even have to know it in its entirety. It just happens and won't stop, and the only way to make it stop is to get more of it. What is it? Songs. They have an amazing ability to get stuck in your head. You only have to hear it once and its in there. They have some amazing ability to control our thoughts with a song repeating over and over again. Today I heard a song on the way to work and it stuck in my head for the entire work period. The only way to get it out was to listen to the song enough until I got sick of it. It still amazes me that I listen to a song for three and a half minutes on the way to work and five hours later its still repeating over in my head as if I heard it two minutes ago. I listen to it over and over in my head and ask myself, how does it do it?
