What hurricane hit this week?

I went to fill up my car yesterday, and I couldn't believe that it cost less than thirty for the first time in months. Did another hurricane come along and hit the sign out front with the gas prices on it, I thought. It almost stunned me that prices decided to go back down for what ever reason. I was beginning to think that 2.67 a gallon was normal. Luckily, through what ever fluke, I'm glad gas is finally back down. Lets just hope it stays that way.

Be an archaeologist

If you want to be in a movie, be an archaeologist. They have pretty interesting jobs. They get to find lost, unexplored, and new treasures. They are always getting into danger and finding a way out. Plus, they are the main character in many movies. For instance, you have Indiana Jones, Daniel Jackson in Stargate, and Dr. Alan Grant from Jurassic Park. What's to lose? Okay, well maybe an important historical find, but other than that nothing. Being an archaeologist is todays job of the day!

Be an Archaeologist Day!

Call it what you want.

Call it what you must: immaturity, annoying, petty, ridiculous, funny, sad, or belittling, but it is in fact true that I like to see people get mad. I enjoy seeing angry people who lose their temper. I like seeing people lose it over the stupidest things. (At this point in time, you're probably asking yourself what kind of demented twisted individual I am.) What I am is someone that enjoys seeing others get mad, because I don't. Not that I can't, but I've come to realize getting angry does nothing for you. I can't see the point of getting so frustrated that you have to yell, I can't understand why people freak out over a simple mistake, and I can't see what good it does to get angry. Everyone that sees you angry thinks less of you, people trying to help while you're angry resent you, and you'll hopefully realize in the end how much of an idiot you were getting upset, and then go and tell everyone sorry for getting losing it back there. So this is why I like seeing people get angry, because you lost it and I didn't.

Communication - Either our greatest strength or weakness

Communication, necessary for survival, Right? Well if it is, then all the money spent on communicating is definitely worth it. Most of the things we spend money on are communication based. We have a cell phone, home phone, internet, and television. What are all these things, forms of communication. I don't think communication is an absolute, but we like to communicate. All forms of entertainment are communication to one degree or another. The funny part about communication is, we can never really communicate everything we want. Instead of fully understanding someone else, we only understand what they are able to communicate with us. Communication is a system, with flaws, that seems to work very well.
